SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER AWARD WINNERS VISIT THE STATE CAPITOL

Des Moines, Iowa – Cedar Falls small business owner, Sarah Gall, was honored at the State Capitol today for her business achievements with a resolution from the Iowa House of Representatives. Gall is the winner of the 2009 Deb Dalziel Woman Entrepreneur Achievement Award, an award which honors an Iowa woman entrepreneur who has significantly changed or improved her life and the lives of others.
“Small businesses are key in getting Iowa’s economy running again and creating jobs,” said State Representative Bob Kressig (D-Cedar Falls). “Sarah’s dedication to her business is admirable and her hard work has been an excellent contribution to the entire community.”
Other Iowa Small Business Development Center 2009 award winners included Gina Blean and Kelly Heysinger, owners of Unified Therapy Services, Inc. have been selected to receive the 2009 Neal Smith Entrepreneur of the Year, an award given to an Iowa entrepreneur who has been in business a minimum of three years and has been significantly assisted by an Iowa Small Business Development Center.
