Now that the elections are finished, I have so many people to thank. First I want to thank my family for their support and help during the campaign. Thanks to the voters of House District 19 for taking time to vote and to be part of the election process. Thank you to those who supported me in my re-election and I want to thank the candidates who put their names on the ballot. I have a great deal of respect for anyone who is willing to run for public office.
My campaign relied on many people to make it successful. I want to thank everyone who contributed their time, effort and financial support. Thanks for putting up my yard signs, for attending events, for making phone calls, for writing post cards and letters on my behalf. I could not have done it by myself.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit with you at your doors as I traveled through the district. I truly enjoyed the time spent with you listening and learning what is important to you.
I want to thank the many groups that invited me and gave me the opportunity to answer questions and speak about what work needs to be done for continued growth in Iowa. Thanks to all the local businesses that worked with my campaign and for the quality work they did.
